The 1/8 blending guard cuts just a bit lower than the Wahl 1/8 guard, and the guard also blends right into the Wahl 1 1/2. With the Wahl senior clipper blade open it blends right into this 1/8 guard smoother as the guard cuts it down just a bit lower but not as low as a 1/16. When you get used to this guard the fades will be sharp, smooth, and flawless.
